Sprinkler Model Summary:
- The Toro® 730 was introduced to replace the Model 660, and Model 630 series. It's higher pop-up height made the 730 a much better sprinkler than the 630 for use in roughs, and around greens.
However, the 730 has not been a satisfactory replacement for the the 660. This is because the 660 was specifically designed for low pressure operation (50, and 65 psi). During the 1980's, products that conserved energy were in high demand, and Toro® responded to that with the 660 models. There is a reduction in energy consumption for the reduction in pressure. Energy savings like that encouraged many designers to recommend the 660 at 50 psi. During the 1990's, energy conservation took a back seat, and the 660 was replaced with the 730. - The FCI retrofit nozzles for the 730 are designed for use at 50, and 65 or 80 psi.
- The benefits of low pressure operation are not only energy savings, but FCI nozzles designed for low pressure will perform better than high pressure during windy conditions.

Sprinkler Model Summary:
- FCIProfile™ spreader nozzles are designed to compensate for the low pop-up height by fanning the water out in a broad stream, and throwing it up and over the grass around the head. Extra attention must be paid to this sprinkler with any nozzle however, and heads that are too low must be raised.
- Much better coverage close to the sprinkler, eliminating the formation of donut patterns. Improved coverage in the mid-range on wider spacings 80'+.
- Stainless steel and brass construction far exceeds the durability of plastic.
- Water exits the slots in the patented stainless steel orifices at a higher trajectory so as to clear the grass around the head, compensating for the low pop-up height.
- Includes two nozzles;range (#57gray) & mid range (#17 lavander) for use with toro 750 series sprinklers
